New record - news!
Hi friends
recording sessions are almost done, summer wants us to go slowly but we're proud to announce some good news:
the cd will be out at the end of this season, more or less in september (only the day is TBA) and Waterslide rec will take care of it and surely will do a great job.
Inconsapevole rec will help us in promotion and all the online support, we trust them, they are good friends and they always give passion on what they do.
who knows maybe we have the chance to make a vinyl version too, let's see and cross the fingers!
we would like to thank our long time buddy Andrea from The Manges for his help.

Live + Studio report!
Hi buddies
we've played with The Queers some days ago, it was a great night.
17 years are passed from the last time we've played with them, what could we say?
Joe still kicks ass and it was good to know he remembers almost every single moment of that old night in Firenze. He even asked Max where he put his long dreadlocks after he cut it off!
Big Joe!!!
We've played a short set, we are still workin on our 4th cd and we must keep on concentratin on it because we want to give you the best, but we wanted to be there at The Cage Club too so when they asked us to play we couldn't say no.

But it's time to update all of you about our studio sessions now.
It seems so strange to say but we're goin to end it before summer.
You know we are some old fuckin lazy bones, things are goin faster than we thought anyway and we are proud to say it will be out on september.
It will be very important for us, a new cd in this 2013 when we reach 20 years of a long and roaring career, so you only have to follow us with not more than an easy attention.
We don't ask you to go to bed with that anxiety about us ahahahahah, you only have to know we are here workin for you and we are almost done!

9 Maggio 2013 - The Queers + The Chromosomes + The Accelerators - Live - The Cage Theatre - Livorno
Il 9 maggio suoneremo al The Cage Theatre con i The Queers e gli Accelerators.
chiunque di voi amici che si presenterà al banchetto e dirà:
-Io sono venuto/a per vedere voi!-
in regalo avrà un cd da scegliere tra le tante compilation a cui abbiamo partecipato.
il primo/la prima in assoluto che si presenterà invece potrà avere in regalo pure una copia di "...more time to relax" (se la vuole eh) il nostro primo cd, del quale ne rimangono ormai solo una dozzina di copie.
al banchetto comunque troverete tutto il nostro vecchio materiale, cd 5€, singoli 3€
e vaffanculo alla crisi e a chi ci vuol male.

giorno 5 - si va veloce!
Eh si, nel prossimo cd ci saranno anche pezzi belli tirati, perché passano gli anni ma non la voglia di andare a 360 bpm.
Pare che stia arrivando l'estate e infatti si comincia a sudare davvero, però puzzare di sudore è sintomatico, sintomatico di lavoro duro.
C'è la concreta possibilità che facciamo un paio di concerti prima dell'estate, uno qua a Livorno e uno a Milano, vi faremo sapere, e sarebbe un'occasione unica visto che poi torneremo dal vivo da settembre in poi quando porteremo ufficilamente in giro il nostro nuovo set, nuovo si fa per dire, perché è il nostro punk rock di sempre, ma con le canzoni del nostro ultimo cd.
Dai, partecipate, sennò lui ci rimane male e si mette a scrivere canzoni emo.
Nel prossimo cd non ci saranno collaborazioni esterne, salvo un nostro amico che suonerà uno strumento extra, l'unico, poiché il resto è tutto voce-chitarra-basso-batteria, cioè noi 3.

Recording sessions - giorno 4 - Fiume Surf Spot
Era nell'aria, come il salmastro quando le onde si infrangono sugli scogli... era nell'aria una reunion della prima fondazione dei The Chromosomes!
Massi, Loris e Ale.
Abbiamo registrato un pezzo che andrà sul prossimo cd, di cui Loris cura anche le grafiche.
Era giusto così, 20 anni da quella primavera del 1993, 20 anni da quando abbiamo registrato il primo demo e fatto i primi concerti.
Ci siamo ancora, belli carichi, perché ci piace principalmente lo stare insieme a fare la cosa che ci piace di più, il resto è relativo.
Siamo a metà delle registrazioni, dopo il brano con Loris e Ale abbiamo proseguito ed inciso le chitarre di alcuni pezzi veloci e il polso di Massi faceva le scintille, come il cavalletto del motorino quando ti strusciava sull'asfalto e un po' te ne vantavi.
Però la soddisfazione espressa in questa foto a fine sessione dimostra che ce la possiamo fare ancora e soprattutto che il panino alla saRciccia era buono e bello unto.
Il brano registrato parla dei bei tempi passati alla nostra spiaggetta, quando avevano più speranze che certezze, e l'indomani sempre il mal di testa.
Ma non c'è malinconia, perché niente è finito, e ritrovarsi dopo tanti anni allo studio di registrazione ne é la prova.
Visto che fra poco è pasqua vi auguriamo un buon natale.

Recording sessions - the summary
Aloha buddies, we're proud to announce we've started our recording sessions, the next cd (the 4th) will be ready soon and you only have to follow this blog or our facebook page for the right infos!
We apologize most of this blog is written in italian but you don't have to worry because you, friendsfromthisbigfuckinworld, won't be forgotten, we swear!

Well, we've already recorded 5 of 12 songs, that ain't that much but we dont want to be too quick, just takin the time we need.
It was supposed to be ready in march 2013 but many things happened and made us late, we're not sure yet it would be ready before summer, but it's important to say that Inconsapevole records don't urge us to be hurry.

E' tutta roba di cablaggi (giorno terzo, recording sessions)
E' tutta roba di cablaggi, cannon, jack, minijack, usb, ingressi, uscite, sdoppini, ciabatte, riduttori...
Cavo, cavo, cavo, se non sei ben saldato ci fai fare delle figure barbine.
I cavi sono ben saldati e possiamo andare avanti in tranquillità, Luca ha già inciso 4 parti di basso, Massi 2 parti di chitarra, andiamo avanti a braccio, chissenefrega, non ci rincorre nessuno salvo Equitalia.
Qualche arrangiamento era stato studiato durante le prove, qualcosa è apparso improvvisamente durante questa sessione serale, Matteo dello Studio Inconsapevole coglie al volo ogni dettaglio e riesce pure a non giocare a Ruzzle da quanto è coinvolto.
Ma che allegra compagnia.

Il libeccio soffia forte, ma noi... (recording sessions diary, giorno 2)
Il libeccio soffia forte ma noi siamo al chiuso, al riparo nello Studio Inconsapevole, tutti belli determinati.
Mimmo ha registrato 5 batterie fino ad ora e questa è la sua risposta a chi lo dava ormai pensionato:
Nella foto seguente invece si vede Ale il Carli (detto Carli Salviano) tentare l'impresa di battere il primato mondiale di editing di batterie. Luca e Diego lo motivano e lo sostengono.
Ma che bella compagnia.

Registrazioni: diario di bordo
Finalmente abbiamo iniziato la sessione in studio per il nuovo cd.
Abbiamo inziato solo quando ci siamo sentiti pronti e i ragazzi dello Studio Inconsapevole ci stanno mettendo a disposizione tutta la loro passione, la loro pazienza e la loro qualità professionale.
Non abbiamo una data certa sull'uscita del cd, quando sarà pronto uscirà, a noi ci piace così.
Abbiamo registrato alcune parti di batteria, contiamo di finirle secondo la nostra tabella di marcia, nessuno ci mette furia, né noi ne abbiamo di nostra, quindi...
Intanto ecco 3 visi esausti ed espressivi, testimonianti la riuscita della prima sessione.
Seguiteci su questo blog, vi terremo aggiornati. (così sfamiamo la vostra fame da good news!!!)

Recording sessions...evvai!
Ok, era giunta l'ora di scrivere qualcosa, che palle! eheheheh
stiamo iniziando le prime sessioni di registrazione presso lo Studio Inconsapevole, quindi il nuovo cd prende forma.
A breve il titolo e la data di uscita.
Se fino ad ora avete sempre detestato la musica che facevamo beh, la detesterete ancora per un bel po', visto che il prossimo cd sarà ancora fortemente punk rock, sarà cantato in inglese e vi possiamo assicurare che ce l'abbiamo messa tutta.
